Birth Story – Part 2

Hello again, it is now 6.15pm on the 6th November and our baby has been with us for 12 whole hours. I am very shattered and not overly in the mood for a blog post but I really want to get everything down before I forget it.

So I left off with the Man taking the Boy to the house of the One He Loves and as usual he was a superstar as he went straight to bed in her room, having never spent a night there before so I was pleasantly surprised when the Man was back home within 15 minutes. Continue reading

The last hurdle

I am 39 weeks pregnant tomorrow, so within 3 weeks we should have a whole new bundle of joy with us. As previously mentioned I am excited and petrified at the same time. Although I think the strongest feeling I have is one of curiosity. Continue reading

The Gallery – Birth

I feel like this post is a momentous one, my first ever Gallery entry. I have been meaning to partake in it for a while but just haven’t got around to it however this week was one I couldn’t pass up. I recently wrote my Birth Story on my blog and that, along with being pregnant, has meant that birth is at the forefront of my mind at the moment.

I know lots have people have interpreted this theme very differently but I am going bog standard because to me when I think Birth there is one thing that springs to mind before anything else, and that is my beautiful Boy. Continue reading

My Birth Story

Being 24 weeks pregnant with number 2, I have started thinking more about the birth of the Boy. I will be trying for a home birth for the second time in November and I thought I would recap on the Boys birth so I can use the experience of last time to draw out the positives and try to overcome the negatives so this time I can have a successful home birth Рbut then we all know how these things never quite go according to plan!  Continue reading
